Took Ashley to see Grease tonight at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts. It was a sanitized version of the show with several songs from the movie. She loved it. I’m not a huge fan of the stage version of Grease, but it was an extremely well-done production with a top-notch cast. Highly recommend

Took my father to see the new Tom Hanks movie, A Man Called Otto today. I’ve adored Tom Hanks since before it was cool to adore Tom Hanks so of course I liked his performance. Mariana Trevino as Marisol was terrific too, and I hope to see her in more mainstream movies in the future.

I started watching Hulu’s Fleishman is in Trouble. Can’t say I like any of the characters. They’re all so annoying but I’m intrigued by the story . I’ve heard a lot of good things about the show, and I’ve always liked Jesse Eisenberg’s performances so I’ll be sticking with the show despite my mixed response
