Only a minute into this movie, and Timmy already has the biggest grin. He’s soooooo in.
Homemade Donuts
I tried homemade donuts for the first time today. They looked ugly but tasted pretty good. The whole experiment was time consuming, so I won’t be rushing to make them again, especially since we have so many yummy donut shops in California. They weren’t a disaster so for my low standards in the kitchen, it’s a victory.

Mother’s Flaky Flix
Anyone remember Flaky Flix by Mother’s Cookies? Recreated them today with a recipe I found here. They were so good.
My children had never eaten them since the cookie was discontinued before they were born, but they loved these.
They were a cinch to recreate since Keebler did the hard work for me.
There’s also a petition to bring back Flaky Flix.
Annie is Over
It’s finally over. We’re done with Annie…for now.
